Section 46
Not to be involved in the decision-making process involving private interest
: (1) The director should not be involved in the decision-making process involving his personal interest.
(2) The director shall not cause any work to be done in the cooperative organization for personal benefit only.
(3) If a director takes any action contrary to sub-section (1) or beyond his jurisdiction, such director shall be personally liable for such action and any loss or damage to the cooperative society, its members or any other person may be caused by such action. If so, such loss will be recovered from him.
